V TV Series

The V TV series is a series that first broadcasted on ABC on November 3, 2009. It's a remake of the 1983 miniseries, created by Kenneth Johnson. Early this year, January 4, 2011 to be exact, the second season premiered on ABC.

So, what is V all about?

V TV series tells the story of the arrival of a technologically advanced alien species on Earth. They pretend to come in peace at first, but it soon turns out that they have, in fact other sinister motives.

The main cast exists of 9 people:

Elizabeth Mitchell (Erica Evans) who plays an FBI counter-terrorism agent. She later on becomes a meber and eventually leader of the counter-Visitor Resistance;
Morris Chestnut (Ryan Nichols) plays a Visitor who poses as human;
Joel Gretsch (Father Jack Landry) who plays a Catholic priets and former US Army chaplain. He isn't happy about he Visitors arrival and he sees his unease validated when he starts working with Erica;
Logan Huffman (Tyler Evans) is cast as Erica's teenage son, who will turn into a V "peace ambassador" and will be the love-interest of Lisa. While coming closer to Anna, he will drift away from his mother;
Lourdes Benedicto (Valerie Stevens) plays Ryans fiance and is, at start, unaware of his alien nature. When she discovers his secret she is murdered by Anny after she gave birth to Ryan's child;
Laura Vandervoort (Lisa) who plays a Visitor. She falls in love with Tyler and is later revealed to be Anna's daughter. Throughout the show she shows signs off human emotion and in the season one finale she joins the Fifth Column;
Charles Mesure (Kyle Hobbes) plays a former British SAS soldier, current mercenary who is on top of the wanted lists of a lot of law enforcement organizations. The Visitors are blackmailing him by holding someone close to him;
Morena Baccarin (Anna) plays the High Commander of the Visitors, they refer to her as their queen. She uses a telepathic pacification process (known as "Bliss") to maintain loyalty and control over her subjects;
Scott Wolf (Chad Decker) is cast as a television news anchor who will become the Visitor's spokesperson. He later joins the Fifth Column when he learns the truth about the Vs.
