But the quality of the Lobo, which series shows, is that he does his job brilliantly when serious crimes threatened Orly County and its people. This quality shows Lobo as an intelligent man and an able police officer.
The principle of the series was repaired completely when the second season began in 1980. When the governor of Georgia visits County he relocates, reassigns Lobo and the deputies to his crime fighting task force, SCAT abbreviated as the Special Crimes Action Team in Atlanta, reporting to Chief J.C. According to an interview which was given by the president of NBC, Fred Silverman to The New York Times, the research showed that the show's performance is well in rural areas, but not as well in urban areas. Due to this reason it was decided to move the show from rural Orly County to urban Atlanta. But the new format decreased the popularity of the series and the show was cancelled after the end of its second season.
